One of my favourite books of the year(written one of my faves) is finally out and I can stop screaming into the void about it! The Invitation by the ever lovely Keris Station is honestly just pure joy so when Noelle from bookouture  invited me on this book tour I obviously said yes! (Disclaimer: This copy of The Invitation  was sent to me for free to review by Netgalley, however, all views are my own*  thank you again to  bookouture  for this opportunity) It's no secret I love Keris (just a quick scroll through my blog can confirm that)so  without further ado leggo... ☆ Title: The Invitation ☆ Author: Keris Stainton ☆ Publication Day: 25 th  June ☆ Rating: ★★★★★ ☆ Buy link:  mybook.to/TISocial When  Piper James  unexpectedly gets a message from her insanely hot teenage crush  Rob Kingsford , inviting her to their school reunion, her heart flips. #125 Some Pride month recommendations

As Pride month comes to a close I thought I'd share with you five books featuring LBBTQ+ characters that I absolutely adore! The Last Beginning, Lauren James If you're a long time reader it will be no shock to you that I'm mentioning a book by Lauren James. If you're new here Lauren is my fave author and I gush about her ALL the time! The Last Beginning is the sequel to Lauren's debut novel the Next Together and features the most adorable relationship between Clove and Ella. I mean who doesn't want to read about time travelling girlfriends? My Heart Goes Bang, Keris Stainton Oh look, another author I never shut up about, My Heart Goes Bang is the unofficial sequel to Counting Stars - you can read the review for here !  My Heart Goes Bang has girls supporting girl, LGBTQ+ representation and it's just so wonderful - make you grab a copy when it's out next week! Skylarks, Karen

#124 Library finds | comic edition |

Over the past year or so I've been getting more and more into the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), once a hardcore DC fan I've recently found myself pretty disappointed with the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) and have since found myself turning into a bit of a fan of both the Marvel films and as an extension of that the comics! The main library has such a good selection of both Marvel, DC and indie comics and I've found some absolute gems! Vote Loki, Christopher Hastings Loki is many things: god, trickster, brother, son, villain, even hero. Now he wants to add one more title to the list: President of the United States! That's right, the God of Lies wants to be the ruler of the free world! But is this just another scheme? Ms Marvel: Damage per Second and Generation Why,  G. Willow Wilson I adore Ms Marvel and I'm so excited that she's going to eventually be introduced into the MCU, unfortunately I've only been able t

#123 5 games that have caught my eye at E3

I feel like I’m on a roll with this whole back to blogging thing! I think some time apart has done both me and the blog a world of good, I’ve got a new outlook on it all! Rather than focusing on the views and beating myself up about it, I've just not bothered to look and it seems to be working! So along with this new blogging outlook, I've been setting the wheels in motion for a little revamp. Books are still going to be at the forefront of this whole thing but I wanna talk more about the things I love - comics,  films and  games! Which is exactly where this post fits in. Apologies to any gamers who are first-time visitors who have clicked on this post not expecting this massive ramble, it’s kinda what I do! Anyway...here's 5 games that have caught my eye so far! The Last of Us Part II The Last of Us is my favourite game of all time, I  completely fell in love with the story and the characters so needless to say I've  been itching for news ever since

#122 My favourite (recent) library finds

Image
Hi, I did that thing where I forget my blog exists and instead use only Goodreads and a twitter thread to keep tracking of my reading, as of writing this I’ve read 24 books so far this year and according to Goodreads that means I’m 3 books ahead of schedule... whatever that means? Although neverlandvicki has been accidentally abandoned for however many months I have actually been blogging, just over on the blog for the charity bookshop I volunteer at - I’ve talked about superheroes, how to reduce your waste and also pride month so feel free to have a wander after you’re done here ( x )! Now onto what you actually clicked on this post for - my favourite recent library finds! It’s no secret that I’ve fallen back in love with the library and I find myself popping in at least once a week. just going in to return books results in me coming away with three extras to add to my collection! State of Sorrow, Melinda Salisbury By day, Sorrow governs the Court of Tears, cover
