Pulp, a little book review

Uhhh it's been a while! Like always I don't have a reason why I stopped blogging I just ended up pouring my creativity into Instagram instead I guess?

#128 Summer holiday TBR

I always get so much reading done on holiday whether that's on the beach, at the pool or just sat out in the evening so this year I thought I'd take full advantage of this and make a bit of a dent in my TBR!

Stardust, Neil Gaiman Young Tristran Thorn has lost his heart to the beautiful Victoria Forester and for the coveted prize of her hand, Tristran vows to retrieve a fallen star and deliver it to his beloved.  I've watched the film adaption of this so many times but it wasn't until earlier this year I discovered there was a book! Neil Gaiman is an author I've been meaning to read for ages so this feels like the perfect place to start!

The Sun is Also a Star, Nicola Yoon The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true? This book has been sat on my TBR for so long and I'd completely forgot about it until readbyzoe mentioned it in her summer TBR!

#127 Mid-year book faves

I've read 30 books this year including comics and rereads so putting this together has been difficult, to say the least! Lets all hope, for everybody's sake that this list isn't too long!
*disclaimer I've read a lot of library books this year so there's gonna be a lot of mismatched photos

Wild Blue Wonder, Carlie Sorosiak  I was lucky enough to read this book really early in the year thanks to the lovely Lauren James who posted me a proof copy! I fell completely head over heels with this book and it's definitely up there as one of my all-time favourite books. An absolute delight of a book about love, loss, and monsters—real and imagined.

Counting Stars, Keris Stainton I hope you're ready to see a lot of Keris in this blog post! Counting Stars is one of those books where not a lot happens and it's very character driven but it's absolutely wonderful and pulls you right in! To the point where it feels like the characters are your friends! I ended up writing…
