#61 My favourite cruelty-free brands | NYX Cosmetics |

Hello, lovelies! How has it been a month since part 1 of my favourite cruelty-free brands series all about Seventeen Cosmetics (click here to catch up)! Today I'm going to talk about NYX Cosmetics! I'm fairly new to this brand but unless you've been living under a rock you'll know that everyone and their dog is raving about it and rightly so!

A/N all prices below!

Naturally, when NYX started being stocked in Boots I was so excited and ordered a couple of bits off the website pretty much straight away and now that my local Boots has its own stand I'm forever lusting after everything - when I can actually get in to see that is because it's always packed!

My favourite item is definitely their Wonder Stick! I talked about this little beauty in my June favourites and about how it makes contouring 10x easier!
Although I don't tend to use the highlight end as much as the contour both ends are so natural, easy to apply and blend!

I'm always reaching for the NYX HD Finishing powder in the shade transparent - the fact that I've hit pan on what is either my third or fourth purchase is proof!

I tend to opt more for transparent setting powders because coloured ones tend to turn me slightly orange so this powder is great! It applies like a dream and is perfect for your t-zone and also setting under eye concealer!

Next up is NYX's Tinted Brow mascara which is a great cruelty-free dupe for Benefit's Gimme Brow, however, it's available in three more shades and is £13 cheaper at just £5.50! I use these just on the end of my brows to prevent pesky flyaways and I'm good to go!

The last product is a new purchase which I discovered it via Leanne's blog (click here for the post) and that is NYX's Tame and Frame Tinted Brow Pomade! I'd never used anything like this before but it's honestly changed my life and my brows have never looked better! I just use a really basic angled brush and carefully apply it in small brush strokes!

NYX's brow pomade is a dupe for the iconic Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow and although both brands are cruelty-free NYX's is £10 cheaper making it a perfect and cost effective way for anyone new to brow pomades!

What are you favourite products from NYX?

  1. I've heard really good things about the contouring stick but I've yet to try it out! And wow, that finishing powder must be great if you've hit pan that many times! Thank you for sharing your faves, love a good cruelty free post!

  4. I've become a recent fan of NYX recently, just purchased a few things, two lip creams that I am obsessed with, setting spray, bronzer and the contour stick actually! I think I want a deeper shade.. Really want to try the setting powder too now!

Anyway but I didn't know this was a cruelty free company which is very pleasing to know! Thanks for sharing!
