One of my favourite books of the year(written one of my faves) is finally out and I can stop screaming into the void about it! The Invitation by the ever lovely Keris Station is honestly just pure joy so when Noelle from

bookouture invited me on this book tour I obviously said yes!

(Disclaimer: This copy of The Invitation was sent to me for free to review by Netgalley, however, all views are my own* thank you again to bookouture for this opportunity)

It's no secret I love Keris (just a quick scroll through my blog can confirm that)so without further ado leggo...

When Piper James unexpectedly gets a message from her insanely hot teenage crush Rob Kingsford, inviting her to their school reunion, her heart flips. She hasn’t seen Rob in eight years – and he’s always been the one who got away.
Throw in some old friends (and frenemies), a sister on the edge of a meltdown and a few too many cosmos and you have all the ingredients for a real night to remember… Will Piper and Rob finally get together, the second time around?
A hilarious and uplifting story about conquering your demons and being true to who you are – perfect for fans of Mhairi McFarlane, Colleen Coleman and Joanna Bolouri.

Like a lot of Keris' books, The Invitation is funny and empowering and I ended up just devouring this wonderful story! Keris' books tend to feature these wonderful female characters who leave you feeling empowered and also feature healthy ways to talk about 'taboo' subjects meaning they completely stand out from the crowd! Meaning  I fell completely head over heels in love with The Invitation and I think Piper may be my new favourite character ever(sorry Hermione Granger)

Funny, heartwarming, emotional all at once, The Invitation is such a fun read that makes you feel like you're Piper's friend!
Make sure you check out Keris and the other bloggers on The Invitation blog tour!
