#52 Tea and a Chat | number 7 |
Go grab a cuppa, it's time for a chat!
*all photos/gifs are my own unless stated otherwise*
Hello lovelies, apologies about the lack of Tea and a Chat posts as of late but today I'm bringing you another Disney tag - this time the Silver Era Tag!
The Silver Era spans over 15 years from 1950 to 1967 and is made up of Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Sword in the Stone and The Jungle Book. This was the last era Walt Disney was alive for!
Any unseen films?
Nope!
What is your favourite film of the era?
It's definitely a tie between Cinderella and Peter Pan
What is your least favourite film of the era?
I wouldn't say have a least favourite but the one I've watched the least is The Sword in the Stone
Who is your favourite main character?
Tinker Bell (Peter Pan) for sure! We're both a little clumsy and can hold grudges - oops!
It's gotta be Maleficent!
Who is your favourite sidekick?
Again Tinker Bell or Gus from Cinderella
What is your favourite song?
I wanna be like you from The Jungle Book
What do you consider to be the most underrated film of the era?
Probably either The Sword in the Stone or 0ne Hundred and One Dalmations - the animation in that film is so gorgeous and classic!
What is your favourite thing about this era?
The animation for sure! I'm a sucker for clever and aesthetically pleasing animation!
What did you least enjoy about this era?
Nothing comes to mind, to be honest with you!
I'm definitely a huge fan of this era and it was fun to focus on an era rather than characters or princesses!
I'd love to see Amy from Cocktails in Teacups, Emily from Hollywood and Lime and Nicola from nicoohlala do this tag if they haven't already!
