Because of how many books I loved in 2017 I had to split my favourite books of the year into two! Feel free to catch up on what you missed in part one before reading on ( x )!

We're coming to the end of the year so that means one thing - rounding up my favourite books of the year! However, when it came to putting a list together it was long as my arm! I managed to cut it down to 20 books so here is part one of my favourite books of 2017 (in no particular order)

It’s been a while since my blog post and I'm gonna sound like the typical blogger all like  “oh life just got in the way” but in all honesty it did!  I started writing a book (!!!) started volunteering at a little Oxfam bookshop twice a week in August  and then got a paid job about towards the end of October which I do alongside my volunteering job - 6 days a week, yup I'm exhausted and you’ll probably find me half asleep on the sofa at half 10 with an open book slowly crashing onto the floor!  I also graduated last month! I'm still not 100% sure it’s sunk in but hey I'm now the proud (and slightly confused) owner of a degree! So now I've probably bored you with all that rambling let’s get onto the most important thing - books!

If you've been reading my blog for a while you might know that one of my favourite youtubers out there is Connie aka Noodlerella, so imagine my excitement when I found out back in January that she was writing a book series (I actually squealed in the library at uni).  Also imagine my excitement in August when Connie told me was going to ask Penguin to send me a proof copy which landed through my letterbox last month! *This uncorrected bound proof was sent to me for free to review, however, all views are my own*

Autumn is so close and everybody is already talking about it but for today's post, I thought we'd try and hold to summer for a tiny bit longer so that I can share with you all my top 7 books (in no particular order) of summer 2017!

So this is a pretty exciting post! On Thursday the final date in the YA Summer Cringe Fest with Stephanie Kate Strohm, Beth Garrod and Simon James Green took place at Waterstones Deansgate in Manchester.  The event itself was chaired by the lovely Beth from Words from a Reader  but before hand myself and Jonna had the chance to interview Stephanie, Beth (Garrod) and Simon!
